Welcome to the Ackerman’s Music Center iPhone App. Inside you will find complete information on our services as well as ease of contacting us via email or phone.

Also in the app you can check out our latest videos, get turn by turn direction to our location and even opt-in to receive our latest notifications.

The notifications go out as text messages, directly to those users who opt-in. Our notifications will contain certain deals and specials we have going on for the day, week or month.

For over 50 years Ackerman’s Music Center has been servicing the Northwest Bergen County area of New Jersey. Our students come from many towns all over New Jersey.

Many of our students have played with their high school band, even earning scholarship to many different colleges and universities. Our students range in age from 5 to 18 years old, young adults, middle aged adults, even retirees.

Our teachers are very professional, not only on the teaching level but also perform regularly in local bands, which play at many events throughout Bergen, Passaic, Rockland, and Morris Counties. They perform in weddings, funerals, ceremonials, recitals, and many different performances.

We even offer music program consulting, so if your local school needs to startup or expand their music department we would be more than happy to consult.

We give lessons in voice, guitar, piano, violin, cello, viola, trumpet, flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe, recorder and ukulele and remedial music reading.

We also repair guitars, restring guitars, repair woodwind, brass, banjo, mandolin, tuba, hand bells, just about any instrument. We sell parts thousands of parts for just about any instrument.

We are also part of the Music for Life program, which is an early childhood music program, designed to develop the musical talent within the young. We teach all the way down to the nursery school level utilizing the Suzuki Violin.
